The "Evan M Snyder Foundation Scholarship"

The Evan M Snyder Foundation Scholarship is an offering that will be awarded to two recipients annually. The purpose of the scholarship, awarded to two Harford County Public Schools' graduating seniors, is to encourage Harford County students to pursue their passion while honoring Evan’s memory by embodying characteristics of Evan Snyder- hard work, leadership, and school involvement.


Each recipient will be awarded $2,025 as a further tribute to Evan’s expected graduation year.

2026 Evan M Snyder Foundation Scholarship Recipients

We would like to thank all applicants for taking the time to apply for our scholarship this year. We were incredibly impressed by the outstanding group of students who applied. Reading about their accomplishments, leadership, community involvement, and future goals made the selection process both inspiring and very difficult. Marley Seaborn

Harford Technical High School

Marley plans to attend Clemson University in the Honors College, with a major of Pre-Professional Health Studies. After college she hopes to become a Physician or Physician’s Assistant, with a focus in Dermatology.

Grace Boseck

C Milton Wright High School

Grace plans to attend University of Maryland to study criminal justice.

  • Scholarship Requirements

    • Applicants must be seniors enrolled in Harford County Public Schools
    • Applicants must show evidence of a minimum of a 3.5 GPA at the completion of their first semester of graduation year by submitting an HCPS transcript (a member of the foundation board will contact applicants after an application is submitted to obtain transcript)
    • Applicants must demonstrate character traits of hard work, leadership, and school involvement by answering essay questions and submitting a teacher and/or coach recommendation (contact information is required for teacher/coach and a member of the foundation board will reach out to obtain recommendation)
